Hi Lynn - If you check Dr. Mercola's Web site (www.mercola.com) and do a search for diabetes in his search engine, you should be able to find quite a few articles. I'm assuming you have Type 1 diabetes, not Type 2. As for the Lantus shots, is there a social agency in your city that would provide assistance? No one should have to go without their required medication due to lack of funds. Perhaps the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services can point you in the right direction (http://www.dshs.wa.gov/health.shtml). Good luck, Lynn. Take care, Bess
