What caused cherry angiomas all over my body

Hi, just found this interesting info on Cherry Angiomas. I thought this is what I have however now I'm not so sure.

I do have some quite large ones on my decolletage, by that I mean just a bit bigger than a large sewing pin head. I am a bit frustrated though because I have practically hundreds of tiny red dots scattered particularly on my torso.

I am now noticing them on my arms, upper legs if I put my reading glasses on and take a good look... which I might add is quite depressing from a cosmetic standpoint. I used to have good skin or so I thought, the first time I noticed these red dots on my torso - tummy I had been using a solarium back in the 80's I am now nearly 56 years old.

Can anyone please offer any advice on the possible causes of having so many? if it is an iodine deficiency then mine must be a major one!

I would need to bath in ACV and Tea Tree Oil and Olive Oil, and it would take ages to cover all of the individual spots with those remedies...mind you I am prepared to give it a go if it will get rid of these unsightly little red dots.

I fear they will all join up and I'll turn red..I may be exaggerating a little there as most of them are tiny dots...I just dont like them.

:( Linda

Hi, I have these too and recently read about a doctor who felt these spots were a sign of having high glucose. This makes sense to me because I have been on 50 mg of iodine a day for a while and they have not budged.

Lindy, if you google: cherry angiomas and bromine you will get a lot of info esp. look for non-orthodox explanation.

Dear Linda,

In addition to the other suggestions, you could try some baths (to cover a large area). You could add 1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar to a warm bath and try this a few times a week. Alternately, you could try 1 cup of baking soda in a warm bath a few times a week.

I would also look into alkalizing remedies on this website. It is amazing how much that helps so many different conditions!

I had the same issue a few years ago. They seemed to pop up all over my body at an alarming rate. I was told I had a yeast overgrowth in my body/gut which may have been the cause. I rid my body of the yeast (yeast/sugar free diet) and took probiotics (which I still continue to take). This stopped any new cherry angiomas from appearing, but didn't get rid of the existing ones. I had to have these removed by advanced electrolysis over the course of a few months.

L, your post was 3.5 years ago so I'm sure you won't see this, but how long did it take you to cure your yeast overgrowth and what type of diet have you gone back to since? I think I may have the same problem.
