What Can Reduce My Hypertension, I Have Tried so Many Remedies!

Posted By Hilary (Studio City, Ca) on 03/27/2012

I have posted here regarding this issue before. Ted you seem so knowledgable and I would greatly appreciate it if you or someone could respond. I had perfect blood pressure, was stung by a bee, given an injection of benadryl and my blood pressure shot up to stroke level. It has been horrificly high ever since. I am tall and thin and this has devastated my health. I have tried everything for hypertension: ACV, Magnesium, Cayenne Pepper, lemon, garlic, hawthorne berry, acupuncture, concoction of chinese herbs, cupping, blood letting, mukta vahti, olive oil, acai berry, boiled chinese herbs, casein, breathing exercises, IV therapy, Filippino Faith healer, everything on the shelf from Whole Foods and nothing has brought it down. My blood tests have had blood tests. I am forced to take a beta blocker which barely works and makes me feel so ill. I have two small children and I need to find something. So, I will send $500.00 which is all I can afford to the individual or charity of their choice if you can help me find a natural cure. Thank you for your time.

Hilary, I am only a struggling patient but here's my two cents. From reading your other post on a breast issue, there seems to be the possibility of heavy metal poisoning. You mentioned blood test, but have you had hair analysis??? The reactions to meds also indicate some type of toxin issue. I am struggling w/ Hypertension caused by Manganese toxicity so I can relate. One thing that helps me is a hot bath of minerals, Epsom Salt, and Baking Soda. Have you tried Detox Foot Pads, Oil Pulling, or any other detox methods??? Homeopathic Detox tabs may help. NAC will boost Glutathione for detox. Wheat Sprout Concentrate will stabilize and protect cells from free radicals.

Hope this helps and good luck. Please keep us informed of your condition.

Hi Hilary, I am sorry to read your explanation and the suffering you are going through. If I may suggest, first thing is that you should accept the condition and don't try to fight with it (it is very difficult to accept) mentally. You have tried practically every thing, so if you feel that all it happened after taking the Benadryl injection, then it proves that till it is there in the system, your symptems will continue. It will take its own time to get out of the system and it will get out. So, please relax check you pH (urine and saliva), I expect it will be acidic, take action by taking sodium bi carbonate with lemon juice ( Ted has given different combinations on this site ) take what ever you like. ACV with sodium bi carbonate has brought down the blood pr. of many people and so why shouldn't it bring down yours! Don't give it up.

Do Shav Aasana, it is, just lie down on the floor on your back and relax your body completely leave it completely loose, close your eyes lightly and get into trance with thoughts of happy experiences going towords making the mind blank. Do it for as long as you can depending on the time at your hand, may be you can do it twice a day. I am sure when you get out of it you will feel fresh and your BP at that moment will be down. If you continue it for couple of days, you will find the change in your BP. Good Luck

Hilary, this is a truncated post from a previous one that didn't get posted for some reason. I have hypertension from Manganese toxicity as well as reactions to numerous drugs and it also appears you may very well have heavy metal poisoning. Do get a hair analysis and find out for sure. Since nothing else is helping this seems likely as only removing toxic metals will bring down HBP.

Hi Hilary, I think you may have Adrenal crisis or at the very least adrenal fatigue. Your adrenal glands control blood pressure and the hormones they produce during an allergic attack (cortisol) can actually go into over drive and keep getting worse and worse. You need to focus on lowering your cortisol and possibly aldosterone levels. De-stress as much as you can. The breathing excercises Baldav mentioned would work great. Also try taking cortisol lowering supplements like Holy basil, Siberian ginsing, Relora, zinc, magnesium, melatonin, and DHEA.

To better explain what I think is going on, when you have an allergic reaction your adrenals send out lots of stress hormone (cortisol) to deal with the stressful situation. This is pretty constant in todays lifestyle but for people who are near Adrenal fatigue this can be very dangerous when dealt something like an allergic reaction. Your adrenals will keep producing the cortisol to deal with the high blood pressure and now high stress from your scary situation. You can have your cortisol levels checked to be sure this is what is going on but make sure it is a saliva test either through an online lab or through a doctor. The blood test will not always be accurate. I know you said that you are tall and skinny so if you have adrenal crisis it could be fairly sudden or A-typical.

As taken from this website:http://www.adrenalsweb.org/

Also look at this possiblity: http://www.adrenalsweb.org/symptoms-of-an-electrolyte-imbalance.php

I hope this is helpful as I am a mom too and I can understand how scared you must be. If this helps I wish for you to keep the money you so desperately offered and put it towards keeping you and your kids healthy. God bless you.

I know you said you tried acv, but was it organic, with the "mother". I have used Braggs apple cider vinegar which you can get at a health food store, also if you combine that with about a teaspoon of organic baking soda and a teaspoon of organic honey in a glass of water. Drink this in the morning and at night. This worked to reduce my husbands high blood pressure. He was able to stop taking his medication, but... If you forget to take the apple cider/baking soda drink, it will go back up. The honey is to make the concoction go down easier. Because your blood pressure is so high, I would suggest highly that you purchase a wrist monitor so you can check your blood pressure periodically throughout the day. Good Luck!
