Was told yesterday i had metatarsalgia

I was told I had Metatsalgia yesterday. I am 52 years old and my fasting blod sugar is 85. I work out a lot. A week ago I started taking omega 3 fish oils, vitamin c 500 mg and vitamin. In addition I take a B complex vitamin. Is there anything else I should do? Also, is there any hope of pain going away completely? Also we have no Podiatrists in Sri Lanka and specialised footwear is also not available in the country, please give suggestions taking this point into consideration

Shereen

Hi Shereen. I 'm 55 y. o. Woman with metatarsalagia off and on for 30 years.... I am an avid walker. This latest crippling episode lasted 1 1/2 years and was just relieved when I added as a last resort BORON (part of bone health), in the form of BORAX to my diet. As per this site, I followed the 1/8th of a tsp in a liter of water per day for 2 months.... I noticed after 10 days a measurable improvement and was walking after 1 month for up to an hour without pain. I would highly recommend a metatartsal support cushion if you can find one. I take a number of supplements and vitamins but nothing worked until Borax (and expensive orthotics which I needed for very high arches). Good luck with it.
