I am age 60ish and fairly healthy. A couple months ago I began having these episodes where my right ear begins buzzing. At the exact same time my eyes begin jiggling rapidly. It lasts about an hour and happens several times a day. It is very scary because it comes on without warning and if I am driving it affects my vision
The doctor says it is definitely not BPPV with nystagmus. She doesn't know what it is and wants me to go for extensive testing. I am avoiding that because my experience with the medical profession has not been positive.
Taking an antihistamine lessens the frequency but only slightly. Has anyone else had this eye jiggling thing?
