Need Help for Vision Issue

Posted By GertJr (Madison) on 07/16/2022

Okay, this is a weird one. I have recently had events occur where I don't pick up on what is right here but see everything else. It's like my brain sees several feet away but not what is right by me. My vision is fine, so it must be my brain. Anyone ever heard of anything like this? And what do I do? I tell myself constantly to be aware, but this is unnerving. I will see the upcoming obstacle but not the thing that will trip me right by my feet.

Greetings GertJr,

I do hope you have found your answer by now regarding your vision concern. I too wonder why sometimes I did not notice what was right in front of me. Sometimes my mind was on where I was trying to go, in addition, I realized that sometimes I was just fatigued and my blood pressure was high. The other thing that I noticed is that when I came in the house from the bright sunshine, the house looked dark, so I would have to let my eyes adjust.

What I presently take to clear my vision and chase brain fog depends on what I think is causing the problem to name a few helpers : Vitamin A, L Carnosine and for alertness and circulation. I presently take an Iron supplement and Pine Bark or Pycnogenol whatever is dosage on the bottle, and sometimes I double it with weekends off.

There is one more thing: Iodine. When my vision is clear, I usually forget this. I was doing this consistently a few years ago. I started using it because of a dream I had. I put one drop of Iodine On each eyelid before I go to sleep. When checking out info to help to find answers, I noticed that most studies used povidone Iodine.

Below are some interesting articles:
