Dear Zamir,

I am sorry you are going through this. I had similar food poisoning with vertigo years ago on 2 occasions. In one instance, I got severe food poisoning while travelling in a remote part of Thailand from chicken. The only thing that helped me was bed rest for a solid week. I had taken activated charcoal at the onset of symptoms, but it did nothing unfortunately. It was a very difficult time because everything (such as sitting up, watching tv or reading a book) made me dizzy and I was alone in a foreign country. I am glad you have your wife to look after you! I had to lay in bed all day in the guest house staring at the walls 24/7. After about 7 days, I was able to continue with my travels, but I had mild vertigo for weeks after that. So please just rest while your body recovers and regains its strength. Don't try to push yourself. Good luck. Wishing you a fast recovery.
