Urinary symptoms might be chronic pelvic pain syndrome

Chronic pelvic pain syndrome

Surprised CPPS has not been discussed here. It seems it is responsible for one percent of all general medical office visits and six percent of urologist visits, so the number of sufferers is in the millions. I am not sure I will fall into this category since I have had urinary symptoms for just a couple of weeks, but am certainly concerned. The main theory seems to be that this condition is caused by stress and can be relieved with both general stress reduction as well as specific excercises to pelvic muscles. Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes Matt, I know of at least 2 friends who suffer from Pelvic Pain Disorder. One is a man who has it because of stress out of control from work, and the other is a good friend of mine who had issues in the pelvic area support muscles before and then they worsened after a hysterectomy. PPD is being treated, but not identified widely because it is so personal and psychologically hard to deal with. I hope we will see more posts here and in other places. Amazon has at least 2 books on the subject. Hope you find strength and healing.

I am not convinced that CPPS is caused by stress, and stress relief & physical exercise do not work for all. With some, CPPS seems to resemble Fibromyalgia, with causing widespread symptoms throughout the body. At least this is how I experience it, besides the pain in the pelvic area I also suffer chronic fatigue, and during times of bad outbreaks depression, pain in my chest, tingling in the feet etc.. I found that some of the suggestions in the fibromyalgia section work, especially ACV baking soda and 5-HTP. I wonder if hydrogen perioxide could be beneficial too. Anyone tried? Best regards

Hi there just read your post, 2 thoughts for further research , yeast... I am aware that if the yeast in the body is out of balance this can lead to horrendous problems, including aching bones and joints. Also check your blood type as you may have trigger foods also that you are not aware of. These are different for many people as we all have different blood types as this can lead to confusion as one person will say to avoid such and such, but you may be different. Ie this is why some new healthy ways of eating may be better for some and not others. I am starting to have Kinestheology (not too sure of spelling) next week, so I can let you know how that goes... Apparantly it is very good. Keep in touch

Schleimkatze, maybe you should research copper deficiency.

@ Raquelle: Hi and good luck with the Kinestheology. Very interesting, and please let me know... Yes, I also suspected yeast or candida overgrowth for a long time. However, I tried many of the remedies against candida, and I had no real success. But it might have been partly because of my failure to eliminate all foods which feed the yeast infection. I also tried h2o2 to support the cleansing process. Initially I was very excited, but after 16 drops my stomach got REALLY bad, and I stopped it (even now after 72 hours it still feels very hot and irritated because of the hydrogen perioxide). Do you - or any reader of the CPPS thread - have any experience with the h2o2? I am quite concerned that I damaged the lining of my stomach. At least for now I am back on baking soda and ACV. But initially I was so hopeful...

@ Debbie: Thanks for the suggestion. I looked it up and copper deficit seems to be a rather rare condition. Do you have any leads why Chronic Pelvic Pain is caused by this? Best regards

Schleimkatze, one of the signs of copper deficiency is grey hair. People are going grey earlier and earlier... Foods are being grown in soil with no nutrients. Even the water supply has been denatured now. A lot of medication and even vaccinations "remove" copper from the body. Too much Vitamin C and even zinc remove copper from the body. Where are people getting copper and other minerals from? The reason I thought copper deficiency is that it does lead to back ache because you lose the soft tissues between the bones. Also without copper your body can't utilise many other minerals (iron included).

I put up an ebook on minerals... You should read it. I was only offering up a suggestion.

Please read this ebook: http://www.adyaclarity.biz/uploads/5/5/1/2/5512066/mineral_deficency_e_book.pdf

Before, I had also Posted this to Ted:

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON CHRONIC PELVIC PAIN SYNDROME AND H2O2?
08/24/2011: Schleimkatze from Berlin, Germany writes: "Dear Ted,

CPPS (Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome) is an awful experience, and I greatly benefitted from some of the recommendations of Earch Clinic in the Fibromyalgia thread. It is not understood what causes CPPS. Because of the associated symptoms (CFS, depression) some folks belive it - like with IC - to be some sort of microbacteria or viral infection. In any case, a hydrogen-perioxde treatment could be useful. I wonder what your thoughts are on this subject. And even more burning is my question regarding H2O2. To be honest, I am simply scared. I started my h2o2 regime and I am now up to 16 drops for three times a day. Although I am very careful with food and use it mininal 3 hours after meal (and only with distilled water) I have an INTENSE burning inside my stomach for the whole day. I wonder what is happening there, and if others experience the same fears. After going through the forum, I notice that there are very few feedback emails of the hydorgen perioxide effect for the long term. A question on possible damage to the stomach was left unanswered. Could you, or some readers here please help out? Did you experience stomach problems? And also, what are the thoughts on supplements and vitamins? Some folks say Vit-c is good but only if the intake is 60min or longer after. Others state that any supplements will cause free radicals and damage your stomach lining. I'd greatly appreciate if you could share more on the internal use of h2o2. My stomach hurts a lot, and I will go off for a while. But is something corroded? Shall I take a break and restart with 3 drops?

Your advice is ****greatly**** appreciated.

Use less HP, of course. Go down to tolerance level. If it's causing pain, YOUR body cannot tolerate that dosage (or that remedy...).

Schleimkatze,

I also suffer chronic fatigue, besides CPPS. I had acute onset with palpitations, fatigue, headaches and chills (no temperature though). This fatigue started about 10 days after groin pains began. Now 4 years later I'm still fatigued. Interesting though that most CPPS sufferors don't suffer chronic fatigue, and just pain. So I sometimes wonder if we had the same condition.
