Posted By Jackie (Kiev, Ukraine) on 09/03/2014

I am CRYING OUT LOUD to Earth Clinic. I DESPERATELY NEED help RIGHT NOW! I have had a lump in my left breast for 10 months and apart from getting somewhat larger it has never bothered me .. About a month ago an abscess appeared on the top of the lump, It didn't burst it just stayed there and I was too scared to touch it. TODAY when I wore a bra in the first time for years when I got home and took the bra off I was totally SHOCKED to find some of the abscess has burst. WHAT should I do I have to do something to stop infection. N0 access to Apple Cider Vinegar but I have 3% H202 and ordinary pharmacy iodine. Can I use these on broken skin and can I deal with the other abscessa VERY URGENT answer is needed You may enail me. Is the doctor there? PLEASE HELP ME I BEG YOU.

Dear Jackie,

I am not a doctor. I have dealt with infections in my family and farm animals so I will share a few things we do for such things.

If you have not done so, go ahead an clean the area with the hydrogen peroxide. Then apply the iodine. Do you have other lumps you are concerned about? Some ladies will paint the breast with iodine. Some also take a drop of iodine a day internally in some water.

Poultices over the abscess are important. Activated Charcoal powder, or chamomile if you have them. Raw honey would be another possibility to use topically. It is a great wound healer. If you can get charcoal, mix it with some water to make a paste. Wrap in a cloth and apply over the area, several inches past the abscess. Change every two hours. Chamomile tea bags could be used. Pour warm water over the tea bag and apply to the abscess. Change hourly.

Garlic and/or vitamin C internally every hour if you have either or both.

Plenty of water to flush the system. If you have turmeric, 1 teaspoon of turmeric every two hours for infection and to keep the blood clean.

Alternating hot and cold wet compresses is also very helpful. Simple and available. I have seen it help infection a lot. Do one minute very warm (but not uncomfortable) then 30 seconds cool but not ice cold. Alternate the hot and cold 7 times. Repeat every two hours. Sterilize clothes after use.

I have written many ideas since it sounds like you have limited options and I wanted to give you many ideas to pick from. I would do several things if you have them available.

Do you have fever or redness? Red streaks from the site? Are you in pain? Fever or red streaks would indicate a need for medical attention, especially if the above measures do not begin helping in a matter of hours.

Please keep us posted!

Jakie: Try dipping a washcloth in a pan of very warm Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate) water and then placing it directly over the area. Do this several times twice daily. You can also rotate using Borax (Sodium Borate Decahydrate) instead of Epsom Salt.

To help reduce infection and swelling place a refrigerator magnet directly over the area and wear your bra to hold it in place during your routine day.

Before going to bed or retiring, rub a little Cod Liver Oil over the area.

This should help. Let us know of any progress.

Hello Jackie from Kiev;

About the abscess.

If you google abscess, you'll find a good Wiki article on abscesses. They are usually infection based on a bacteria.

I would use anti viral/bacterial/fungal called colloidal silver... as silver kills those infectious microbes. And I'd use Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to carry the silver water into the abscess. DMSO is commonly available through Veterinary supply services. If I lived in Kiev, I'd try through my Vet first and assuming Silver water was unavailable too, I'd use Tea Tree Oil or some other locally recognized anti microbial. Mix the oil with the DMSO (DMSO as a cream would be great) and apply to abscess. I'd also assume the underlying tissue might need the mix so I'd apply to the general area once a day for a month.
