Trying to avoid more surgery for bartholin cyst

Posted By Kelly (Saskatchewan, Canada) on 12/01/2014

Hi everyone - I'm 28 years old and I started noticing an impacted Bartholin gland that would come and go about a year ago. This summer, it started getting worse. I was told by my ob/gyn that it would have to be cut open, so we did the 'minor' procedure. I had a nightmare of a time - first an infection, then a yeast infection, then stitches that wouldn't come out and had to be cut...now, the cyst is back full force 6 weeks later, bigger than ever, and the ob/gyn says I need to have a surgery, full anaesthetic in the O.R. this time. I've had a lot of pelvic surgeries and trauma due to endometriosis, and am not wanting to go through this. I'm a huge fan of all things natural so hoping I can fix it.

I plan to try all of these methods while I await my surgery (3 months waitlist). Any other advice would be helpful. Thanks!
