Treatment for Different Types of Mites - Should They Be The Same?

Do you treat all mites infestation the same regardless of the type of mite?

I am having a horrible time with Demodex mites. I have several health issues that limit my ability to do all the washing and cleaning and changing sheets etc. my caregiver is my daughter thinks I am obsessing because ALL the doctors said everyone has them and not to worry. So she isn’t inclined to do all the aggressive work that seems to be required. She just thinks I need to go to a psychiatrist. Anyway, I am taking NAC and Neem oil capsules 2x day. Shower with a tea tree oil bath wash and shampoo, rinse my hair and body with apple cider vinegar and borax and using Clinidex wipes on my eyes and face 2-3XL and just purchased a Rosalight to use each day. I just read where a woman several years ago washed her face an oil of oregano until her skin peeled and that killed her mites. After rereading, I realized she had bird mites. Has anyone used ooo to kill Demodex mites? In general do you treat all mites the same? It seems that the post on the different type of mites are all lumped together and can be very confusing. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Hi Beverly, send me your address and I will gift you with bottle of jungle oil I bought back from recent trip to Panama, Central America. The locals make it by slow cooking copal resin to infuse the oil. It saved our lives while there and didn't get bitten by mosquitoes. It may be worth a try. Be encouraged. Karen
