Eileen, I agree with Mmsg's suggestion for clay poultice, you can also make mineral rich baths with 2-3 cups minerals, pick from borax, Epsom salts, sea salts, baking soda and of course the clay. But being that your condition is inflammatory, you might look at taking some internal antiinflammatories, Ec'ers have had great success for some skin conditions using cilantro half to one bunch a day, or a good quality extract, and also turmeric. There are many anti inflammatories you can try, clove of garlic, grapefruit seed extract, Ginger, Olive leaf extract, etc, the point is to find what works for you. Whatever one you choose, start off slow, once a day, for about four days, then add another dose, slowly building up to four times a day. Keep a diary of foods /drinks that aggravate your symptoms, these are the cause and should be eliminated at least temporarily to allow your body to heal.
