I used 1 TBSP of Ascorbic acid, this is to neutralize the chlorine in the water ( you could also use sodium thiosulfate from a pet store that's used in fish tanks for this) I prefer ascorbic acid because Vitamin C has so many other benefits as well. I use 2 cups of Borax and 1 small refrigerator sized box of baking soda.
I still do detox baths a few times a month now just for improved health. Sometimes I leave out the borax and instead use hydrogen peroxide ( an entire 32 oz bottle) and half a bag of magnesium bath salts. I don't do the Peroxide more than once or twice a month because it is an indiscriminate bacteria killer and can kill good bacteria as well...for women that can be an issue.
On a side note there are some things you can mix in the DMSO when applying it that may give relief as well. If you are experiencing active panful inflammation you can crush up a noncoated aspirin real fine ( my preferred method is to put it in a ziplock bag and crush it with a vegetable can from the pantry) and add to the DMSO in a glass bowl or cup before applying to relieve the pain and swelling. I have also mixed ascorbic acid into the DMSO, and a few times I mixed colloidal silver into it. Because DMSO is a carrier that can take these substances directly in through the skin it can provide rapid relief. When I mix one of them in I only mix one of them. I have never combined multiple substances with the DMSO at the same time.
You also will benefit faster if you alkalize your body. PH levels are EVERTHING to female health in these areas. Taking the alkalizing remedies here on earth clinic is a great way to do that. Apple Cider Vinegar each day, 1/4 tsp of baking soda in distilled water a couple of times a day and if you drink acidic drinks like coffee and tea then add a pinch of baking soda to them to neutralize the acidity.
