Remedies Needed for Friend With Autoimmune Disease of the Feet

Posted By Mary (Usa) on 04/13/2016

@ BEN from Bremerton,

I have a friend, the docs tell her she has auto-immune disease of the feet. i asked her what exactly is happening to the feet. Answer is growths on the feet, when taken out grow back. She said it is not planter warts, which she has had for at least 40 yrs due to bad shoes. She cannot walk extreme pain, wares black socks and no shoes. If it's auto immune it probably is fungus related but she is underweight 120lbs and smokes all the time.. do you or anyone have any idea what her docs are talking about? I did not see what they looked like but docs want to cut everything (?) out, crush the bones and re-align them..

Thanks.

The condition is porokeratosis plantaris and its quite painful..feels like a rock between the bone and skin. I have had this condition for years.. dermatologists froze them, podiatrist used acids and even had laser surgery to remove them only to return. There is an injection treatment but I recall the product is banned in the USA. The product was used to destroy the cornoid lamella so that normal cells could regrow.

I have found a way that works for me and its to use the tool (can't name it here) but it's a battery operated rotary file which can be found easily at walmart and local drug stores. I first used it over the course of a few days to sand off the huge callous that comes along with it until the surface is smooth as it should be. After that, I do a couple minutes maintenance every other week, not a permanent solution but it works. I hope this helps.
