Hi Cher, I don't actually have tinnitus myself but I had hearing difficulties bc of my TMJ and among suggested treatment for both your and my condition was accupuncture. Do you know the root cause of your condition? Have you had anyone, perhaps a chiropractic, to look at your spine, especially your neck spine? A problem located there could be causing your problems, if that was the case, I would try to address that issue first.
