Thank You Bess for your recommendation to read the book, "Could It Be B12?". I have just now ordered it, and look forward to having it as a great reference. Mightn't it be that a review of it by you, be considered? I do look forward to your well-researched, informative posts. Thanks!

Thank you, Connie from SLC, for your kind words.

I actually borrowed the book, Could It Be B12?, from the library and took a few notes. My sister-in-law suffers from depression and I thought there might be some good information for her (there was - there's a section on mental illness). Unfortunately, she doesn't believe anything unless it's from a doctor in a white coat with a prescription pad in hand. Alas, I don't remember enough about the entire book to write a review. However, I do recall reading that a lot of older people diagnosed with dementia or early-stage Alzheimer's were, in fact, extremely deficient in B12.

Hope you enjoy the book. It's an interesting read. Being a "book-aholic", I try to get as many books as I can from the library or I would go broke! Cheers, Bess
