No Remedies Removing Teeth Stains From Braces After Accident

Posted By GertJr (Madison) on 11/27/2021

Someone who was falling grabbed me, causing me to fall as well. My mouth hit the bleacher and I have much dental damage. Because of this, I am now in braces, totally unexpected at my age. My problem is that, even though my dental hygiene is perfect, I am getting stains at several of the attachment points. Because of the damage, I have already started Hulda Clarks walnut tincture to strengthen my teeth and prevent cavities. I was already eating very well and taking supplements.

I do not drink coffee, dark teas, or colas, so I'm not sure what is causing the stains. I brush with home-made tooth powder that includes walnut hull powder, horsetail for silica, xylitol, baking soda and sea salt. I floss with the type of floss that is kind of fluffy, hoping it will scrub the surfaces better. I brush and floss every single time after I eat or drink anything but water. I also use a water-flosser with some peroxide in it twice a day. Still, I get these stains. Any suggestions to prevent the teeth stains and any further damage?

Mouth injuries can leave iron stains from blood products. (hemosiderin)

I use apo-lactoferrin, without iron, to remove them. ( jarrow's and life extension makes them)

I take a capsule a day and also brush my teeth with it, off and on. It's a bit gummy, but ok.

It will turn a pinkish brown color from chelating the iron from the teeth and gums.

Spit that out.

Apo-lactoferrin can cause nerve sensitivity if calcium intake is low. Calcium protects nerves.
