Tan Coloured Stool with Undigested Food

Posted By Heavenlychoirs88 (London) on 04/28/2013

Hi, I had an alcohol problem 3 years ago which I no longer have and since then have soft, tan colour stools that contain undigested food. I am about to start a liver flush but can anyone recommend anything else so that I can get rid of this. I also get gas after eating food. I have tried parasite cleansing which temporarily made the stool firmer but did not change the colour at all.

poop: brown means good bile

Green means it used less transit time

Black tar like.... Too many oreo cookies.... Just kidding, ... but maybe.

Black tar like could be blood or iron supplements or activated charcoal tablets... Those will stain your bowl and underwear.... bismuth or sylicylate

Light color- maybe grey means a posible block in the bile flow or liver disease

Take some digestive enzymes and some vitamins and minerals and yogurt with probiotics and eat some healthy food , then see if there is a change

Coconut oil will heal the digestive tract from mouth and teeth to rectum....

Betafood heals gallbladder and helps digest food

Hi, thank you for your reply. I am eating a super healthy diet have been for the last 2 years or so and nothing changed. I did a liver flush yesterday and a few green stones came out so maybe that will have changed something I don't know yet. The stool is just loose and I go everyday (which is better! ) but is a weird orange/ tan colour - I used to have fully formed medium to dark brown stools. I don't know what to do.

coconut macaroon... In this site for diarrhea and on about.com they say orange tan is in the normal range

undigested food is not mixing with saliva enough or enzymes and maybe need more chewing
