I hope your father will research bilberry also. It is almost a necessity for anyone say at least 50 & over. There are many studies showing how it helps to prevent blindness and deteriorating vision in general.Replied by Rob (Manhattan, Ny) on 08/13/2010
Yes, great suggestion Lorica, Bilberry (jam) is said to have been used by bomber pilots in the WWr's to help with their night vision. It helps with circulation to the eyes.. I prefer tincture formulas which seem faster-acting... (and for me helps to clear up red eyes)...Replied by Yvonne (West Midlands, Uk) on 07/02/2014
Hello Mama- I totally agree with what Alain has had to say about MSM. I have used this for my own eyes(light cataracts, floaters and blurred vision-always worst after eating wheat and dairy) and it clears my vision to such an extent that I am able to walk around in the sunshine without my usual sunglasses and peaked hat. I stopped using it recently to see what happened and all the blur came back. I take one teaspoon of MSM powder in a small glass of water with 1.25 grams of Vitamin C every day. It works and helps the body in so many ways, I have found my digestion has improved also bodily aches and pains have also disappeared. I wish you and your father good luck if you wish to try this.
