Dear Rosa, I think charcoal poultices, used externally over the liver, or castor oil packs over the liver would be helpful to you. I have used both for pain this way, though not for liver pain, and it does work well.
How to make a castor oil pack
How to make a charcoal poultice
I would use a charcoal poultice overnight for several nights. It can be used during the day, too.
I hope you feel much better soon!

You can take 1-2TBSP of epsom salt or magnesium citrate powder in a warm cup of water on an empty stomach. Lay on your right side with legs pulled up for a couple of hours. This will cause the gallbladder and liver to release built up toxins and stones. Works every time for me.Replied by Om (Hope, Bc Canada) on 04/04/2015
Her advice is very effective. You could add Milk Thistle tincture from the health store. I use it for detox symptoms to aid the liver and have it always on hand.

Om, I've been taking all of the protocols for hepatitis c. I also have peripheral neuropathy from Cipro and I'm taking the iodine and borax..
I recently added Amla (2- 1/4 teaspoons a day)and bumped up my milk thistle to 3 grams a day and found out that I now go to the bathroom about every hour all night. I was going about 5 times a night before and feel it's because of the neuropathy, but don't really know...Do you know if Amla and/or milk thistle is a diuretic? The crazy thing is I use the bathroom during the day about twice but during the night it's terrible...It has got to be because of the prone position. However any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you much.

Denise, re nightly sojourns, --ORH-- had posted some time ago that taking a tsp baking soda in about two oz water would help with reducing those nightly trips. I helped me. If I find out more on Amala I will let you know.
Hang in there. Namaste, Om

You are not alone. We are conditioned this way. What it does to me in the moments of despair-it empowers me, gives me that "resistance free" moment, no matter how many times I have heard it already.
