Stomach Bug Led to Colitis

Posted By Jane (Melbourne) on 08/13/2016

I've had irritable bowel in various forms for 30 odd years but last Christmas I think I picked up some stomach bug, which I never get. Couple of days later I got a bad chest infection requiring antibiotics and prednisone. Within a day my stomach settled. Since then I've had the same symptoms, diarrhoea which stopped on taking prednisone. Now I have Colitis which the drs want to treat with prednisone each time. Surely if a bug caused Colitis it can be reversed, what can I take instead of steroids?

Hello Jane;

I think you are correct in connecting the new bug attack you had to the increased colitis.

If me I'd use anti virus and anti bacterials in reducing new infection which worsened the colitis.

I would:

1. Take Echinacea 4 drops in half glass water three times a day for a month.

2. Take three tablespoons of colloidal silver three times a day on empty stomach.

3. Two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water twice daily.

If after a month the symptoms lessened, I'd keep up protocol for another 3 months.

A systemic infection, such as the one you have, apparently might require a few years of daily intake of colloidal silver to eliminate. I've read some reviews of Echinacea that say one should not take longer than a month or two without a break.

HI U JANE,,,,,,,,

Awhile back I got the something similar to what you describe. My Integrative doctor put me on a prescription medical food product. If you don't know what this is...... it is a natural product that only your doctor can prescribe. These folks have the money market down pat.

What she gave me was a bone marrow product and it cleared me up big time. The name of it was EnteraGram. I recommend it.

My bowels changed big time. I now think I will live. Otherwise, I sat on the throne full time.

I wish you well=======ORH======
