Severe itchiness for chronic dandruff scalp itchiness

Posted By Viviana (Aurora, Il) on 12/04/2011

Hello. I have been suffering from severe scalp itchiness for almost 3 years now. It seems that shampoos get my scalp dry and every time before I wash it (only once/week) I apply warm olive oil on my scalp and leave it for 5-10 minutes, and sometimes even longer. Recently, I am experiencing a more than usual itchiness, my scalp has red spots as if I have a mild sunburn, even though I am not exposed to the sun. Also, I have noticed tiny white flakes all over my scalp, this is a new symptom I did not have before. I tried the anti-dandruff shampoo only to find it made it worse! I am running out of options and do not know what to do. I read about using the apple cider vinegar and the hydrogen peroxide. I will try this today to see if this helps. Please let me know what can I do.!!!!

To Viviana from Aurora, Il. You have a fungal infection. Whether you want to refer to dandruff or candida or atlete's foot, they are all fungus with the ability to cause surface skin problems and then to withdraw inside to a different area of the body if you attack them. Organic virgin coconut oil is the best natural way to attack and with time, eliminate the problem.

My recommendation is that you apply a liberal amount of coconut oil to your scalp and massage well. Leave the oil on all night and wash out in the morning with a basic shampoo. You should see improvement within a few days. You can apply the oil to your skin as required for any dry or other irritating condition.

Coconut oil is antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial. It is also very good for both hair and skin.

To actually eliminate the fungus from your body you need to be ingesting at least 2 tablespoons of coconut oil per day and work that up to 3 or 4 per day. The fungus will withdraw from skin and scalp but will return if you don't continue your program for at least a month beyond the elimination of visible symptoms.

Viviana;

Me & another family member had these small bumps on the scalp, small sores, in the last year, that seem to come & go. Similar to what you describe. We found out that if we took some CASTOR OIL, put it on the tip of our finger, then apply it to the bump, or eruption, that the castor oil would cause it to go away within 10 to 24 hours time. It seems to work every time.

Castor oil is extremely anti-biotic. The oil of it is very healing to the skin. Therefore it is very good on cuts and wounds also. No infection and they heal very fast.

TYPE; extra virgin, cold pressed type. 1 pint costs about $7. A little goes a long way. Put some in a 2 oz. Dropper bottle, or a 1 oz squeeze bottle. You just use a couple of drops on the scalp sores.

You can also use it to oil your rifle with.
