Severe Diarrhea After Having Gallbladder Removed

Hi Bill,

Haven't seen mail from you for some time, hope you are doing fine. I have two questions for you one is that how can one make use of food grade H2O2 for keeping general good health. Time and again the doubt comes to the mind that this being an oxidant, whether it can cause any damage because general emphasis is on taking the antioxidants to neutralize the free radicals. Please give your opinion.

Second question is that around 60 yrs old man with not very good health got the gallbladder removed due to attack and now has severe diarrhea problem, can't retain meal, practically after eating with in 20 to 30 mts he has to go to toilet. If you have come across some case where you have treated some one please share your experience. Any diet plan you would like to suggest. Thanks a lot.

Hi Baldev....Yes, sorry about being off the air. In the last couple of days we've been contending with a super-typhoon over Luzon. And there's is another super-typhoon coming in to hit us again, right behind this one. I was tired of no electric, no TV news, no internet, flooding etc so we're staying in a local hotel at the moment.

To answer your two questions.

Anti-oxidants and oxidants are like Yin and Yang. They are opposites. Everyone knows why anti-oxidants are so good for us, but oxidants are also essential for life. If we didn't have oxidation reactions going on in our bodies, our bodies wouldn't be able to get energy and their would be no effective ammunition for the immune system to defend our bodies against pathogens. Oxygen needs to be processed for energy in our bodies and this process requires oxidation reactions to take place. It's only when excessive oxidation reactions dominate our bodies that we become ill. Because it's really all about proper chemical balance in our bodies. Oxidation-reduction reactions also relate directly to our body's electricity, alkaline-acid balance and diet, it just depends which mirror you want to use. Just to conclude that I believe that oxidants and anti-oxidants are both needed for our body's proper functioning.

Concerning your friend with gallbladder problems, the gallbladder is essential for digestion because it stores bile. So your friend is likely lacking bile, especially if he is an older person. So perhaps if he additionally took bile tablets then this might help. I would also take the protocol described and shown here just in case his stomach acid is low. He should take protease enzymes -- pancreatin -- with every meal to help his digestion. He should also alkalize about a half an hour after he has finished his meal using sodium bicarbonate and water. This should help him.
