Sleep Seizures and Possible After Effects That Are Linked

Posted By Iain (London..UK) on 12/02/2021

Recently, been having seizures, mostly in my sleep, every 2 months. My blood pressure at the same time is very high.

On 8th August, after a couple of days of repeated seizures, I awoke in total confused state. I had also lost all my short-term memory. And basically didn't know where I was, and ended in hospital a few days.

At the same time when I awoke, I had a septic Ulcer on my left foot. ( This is still there). And extreme Eczema, mostly on the left arm. Some with burst blood vessels. No improvement since 8th Aug. Tried Betnovate, and Dermovate. No improvement.

Also after seizure, my left shoulder is extreme pain, and limited movement. I imagine caused by the fit. Doc says frozen shoulder. I have had a steroid injection, but no improvement.

All my problems more or less came same day, the morning when I awoke 8th Aug.

I do feel there must be a link between all of them. And especially how they all appeared same time.

I need to look at alternative med, as getting nowhere with conventional meds. Also willing try anything.

I'm 63 years old. Have lived not the most healthy life style, but not terrible .

Suggestions welcome, and as said I do feel there's a link between them all???

You're right,

These symptoms do have a link. Calcium deficiency is associated with many signs in addition to teeth and bone strength.

Seizures occur in extreme cases, and calcium deficiency (hypocalcemia), may not show up in a serum blood test.

Calcium is involved with blood pressure regulation. It normalized my high bp.

Calcium affects the skin, its deficiency can manifest with eczema and psoriasis.

If calcium is deficient, phosphorus can accumulate and increase the incidence of all-cause mortality, including infections, not to mention kidney and heart failure.

An ionized calcium serum blood test may be more accurate.

These days it's hard to get enough calcium; we're avoiding dairy and soy. It's difficult to eat that many collards and kale. Nuts have them, but they should be soaked to make calcium available.

Best to you.

BTW,

Here's another paper that has an excellent list of calcium deficiency, hypocalcemia, signs and symptoms.

Just last week had a sleep apnea study. Easy, sent me home with a simple meter. I have had high, very high blood pressure for years and insomnia. The result is I have severe sleep apnea and am waiting to be shown various CPAP machines. I believe I would ask your doctor to prescribe a sleep apnea test. I understand this can be serious if untreated.

You're right about things being connected. I've been studying Energy Medicine. acupressure, meridians, etc. for years and it blows me away how things are connected. I'll be massaging a pressure point, say on my chest, and I'll get a ding in my calf, stuff like that.

See if you can find a Touch for Health or Energy Medicine practitioner to muscle test you. We are all unique & one shoe doesn't fit all, so muscle testing will show where your energies are skewed. I've had miraculous success with various issues.

Innersource has a list of practitioners. You may find one in your area or they'd know of others.
