My mom is 69 years old and she has a ischemic stroke a week ago. The blood work shows that she is diabetic, has super high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Now she cannot move her right arm at all and has a little movement of her right leg. Is there anything or remedies I can use to help her recover? Please help. Thank you very much. Leia

HI U LIEA, , , , , , I was reared about 44 miles east of you in Crossett, Ark. Beat the snot your El Dorado tennis team in back in '54.
As I just told Jeff in a post, I would look into EDTA chelation to open up the blood vessels. This won't be covered by insurance and I'm not a doctor. There's some smart folks on this site and maybe they have a solution. Wish your Mama well. Go Razorbacks.

Hello Leia,
Re your mother/ ischemic stroke
With those lasting effects I wonder why it is being called ischemic.
But to answer your question; I take NATURAL vitamin E, 400 iu daily plus magnesium and potassium. I believe these may reduce clot formation. They could also help in repair.
Also I suggest anyone read about Calcium AEP...Google that and search words "nutrition review" for an excellent article on the same.
Dr Adkins used IVs of AEP for his MS patients. If AEP will help with the electrical circuitry of MS patients it stands to reason it might also help a stroke victim.
