Seeking help for wife with melasma

My wife has Melasma and has suffered for the last 2 years but can still not find a cure and it is actually getting worse.
She has been on a yeast and wheat free diet for a long time and has tried many different sources of pills and vitamins. She has visited many dermatologists without success and has also visited the Ash centre in New York again without success.
I am asking if anyone could help me with any suggestions please?
