Root canal work a month ago left pain

Posted By Oldriska (Prague, Czech Republic) on 01/03/2013

Hi, I had a root-canal treatment done about a month ago on a molar (4 canals altogether). The pain intially subsided but now it has come back and it's pretty bad. The treatment was done using a microscope and high quality material, so I'm not sure what could go wrong. I had root canals done before on my front teeth and they both had to had their tips removed due to ongoing infection. My immunity is not at its best at this time because I had four oral surgeries done in the past year and a half and was on many antibiotics, Lyrica and antidepressants due to damaged nerves. I'm hesitant to ask to have root tips of that molar removed at this point and if you have any tips on how to treat my pain or the possibly infected tissue underneath the tooth itself, I would very much appreciate it. Many thanks and I wish you all a healthy 2013! Oldriska

Hi Oldriska, I haven't seen you post for awhile. Sorry to hear about your pain. Recently, I had posted quite a bit of audio interviews with amazing dentists and people who use alternative dental health and there was much about root canals, healing cavities, reversing gum disease, etc. Some of the information was how invaluable fermented cod liver oil and butter oil are in healing the teeth. I have ordered it online and now get it at a local healthfood store. If you google it, you'll find it. Also, vitamin K-2 is instrumental in tooth health. I will post the link to the audio because the information is amazing.

I know this is only accessible for a limited time period and then it will no longer be available. If you go to each one, you'll see they are MP-3 downloadable so then you can keep them to access later. That's what I've done because they're so information packed, I will need to listen more to digest it all.

I hope this information helps. Notice especially, Patrick Timone because he specifically talks about root canals. Best to you always, Lisa

Hi Lisa, Many thanks for your reply. Yes, I haven't been on the forum for a while. The good thing is, I've managed to come off the Lyrica I had been previously taking for my trigeminal neuralgia. But now I have this tooth problem on the opposite side of my face and I'm scared that it could be the nerves playing up again. This winter season is a bit strange, one day it's very warm and then the next it's freezing cold, so many people have come down with a flu and I can tell I really need to do something about my immune system... I get this gut feeling it's somehow related to my teeth, skin and so on. Thanks for your information on the K2, I didn't even know such a vitamin existed! Doctors always tell you about calcium for your teeth/bone health and K2 gets completely neglected, which is a shame. I'll have a listen to the audio you posted, many thanks for the link! Take care, Oldriska
