Posted By Christine ( Nottingham, England) on 09/11/2012

Hello Rebel sorry to hear about your father. I am also goig through the same issues with my husband who is 70. We found out on a routine test that is PSA was over 200, We were in shock. He had no symptoms only needing to urinate qiuckly ie when he needed to go he needed to go. He has had a bone scan and has not gone to the bone, THANK GOD. We are still very worried the doctor does think it has spread outside the prostate. He also has heart problem and traditional approachers could make thing worse for him. We are using Saw palmetto, Lycopen, vitamin D, turmeric in just about everything. I am constanty looking for different things to help. I have purchsed a book called Cancer step outside the box , by Ty Bollinger. It give you many alternative answer to cancer. I hope this helps. I feel your pain. But keep looking for answers. Let us know how you get on. Best wishers Christine.

Thanks for all the replies. My father was called today and is scheduled for the biopsy on the 20th of this month. He is very depressed and felling down. I can only hope for the best... I do know that prostate cancer is normally a very slow growing cancer and the chances of passing away from something other is greater than the cancer it self. But, I am super worried, because he has been complaining of hip pain and sometimes that can be a sign that it has spread from the prostate.

My father if he does have cancer, I do not believe will try anything other than medical doctors. He put alot of belief, heart and soul into the essaic 4 herb tea... I not saying that this tea don't work , but we will see. It did seem to help everything else with his blood work except the PSA level. I do wonder and it is just a thought, but cancer goes through stages and can spread, if maybe the tea was killing the cancer and causing the PSA level to be elevated. Like getting worse before you get better. There for a while he said that the burning and stuff had stopped, but would come back every so often.

The cayanne pepper he could or would never do, because he has a very sensitive stomach... I don't see him doing accupuncture or anything else.

His father passed at the age of 80, I believe. I do know that it was of natural causes and not an illness. Anyway, my grandfather took baking soda every single day of his life and was rarely sick, until he was put in a nursing home and had no access to baking soda. Even in knowing this my father will not take baking soda. And I have tried to explain the PH thing to him, like the PH in a pool. But he just does not want to do that, why I do not know.

Rebel, you might try looking at cancertutor. com and see if there are any protocols your father would accept.

Hello everyone! I want to thank all of you again for your comments and concerns for my father. I HAVE GREAT NEWS! He went to the medical doctor yesterday for his results of the prostate biopsy and there is no signs of cancer at all. They took 16 samples from his prostate and no cancer was found.

Now, I can't say if he ever had cancer or not. Maybe he didn't or maybe the Essiac tea that he drank 4 times daily got rid of it before the biopsy. Doctors conculsion is it is a very bad infection. Doc told him he could give him meds to shrink the prostate down, but the side affect the meds is they can cause cancer... So he urged him just to keep taking his Flo-Max that helps with urinating.

I urged my dad to start the tea back, just in case the tea helped. He said he may. I also want him to add coconut oil to all his foods. It may help that infection since it is ANTI- bacterial, fungal and viral. Just a little everyday in soups, cabbages and fried foods. Also I would like for him to add Bromelain and White Willow for the inflamation.

If anyone has suggestions on something good for the infection and the INFLAMMATION, it would be greatly appriecated. I have ask on here before about cures for inflammation and did not get much response ( When I was asking for my sons sinus infections ) You know change in diet as I said in an earlier post is really not an option for my dad, and he will not take baking soda or borax.

Thank you, Rebel

Oh Rebel! That really is great news! Yea! I remember you asking for inflammation remedies but the restrictions you laid out may have deterred people from giving recommendations. I recall I suggested Traditional Chinese medicine as that helped my dad and my husband with prostate issues. Can't remember if that was a no from your dad.

Another suggestion is lyposhperic vitamin C. I take this on recommendation from my stem cell therapy Dr.as he said it was as effective as vitamin c IV therapy. I can feel its effects within about 15 minutes after I take it. All my joints feel much easier which I assume is the reduction of inflammation in the body. You can order it on Amazon for less than on their site and you get free shipping. Although, right now, they are offering a gift on their site so I'll give you the link because you can also read all about the benefits of this delivery system of vitamin c.

Anyway, that's my two cents! Lisa
