Remedies needed for bells palsy

Posted By Colette (Hubbard, Texas) on 11/25/2011

What kind of alternative remedies can I find for Bells Palsy? I have heard that it is caused by a virus related to Herpes or possibly Lyme Disease also could be caused by inflammation or bacterial infection in mouth. I have limited motion on the right side of my face, my eye just began to blink about a month ago. It has been 7 mos since I became paralyzed in my face, PLEASE HELP!

Collette, so sorry to hear about your condition. I remembered watching a youtube video a while ago on someone who cured her of Bell's Palsy using ACUPUNCTURE... She documents the whole thing on youtube week by week. Amazing. Accupuncture restores blood flow to the area.

Also, I seem to remember magnesium deficiency playing some sort of role so you may want to research that.

I first had Bells palsy after getting the flu in 2008 and I was put on a regimen of steroids and antivirals that had no affect and they were suggesting surgery after 3 months. I became frustrated and searched for a natural remedy. I was told B12 sublinguals or shots (or a B-complex of 12, 6 and 1), Lysine, and Acetyl L-Carnitine. It cleared up 2 weeks!!! You must take all 3 vitamins daily.

AVOID the steriods/electric shock/surgery. Didn't work for me. Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. -Gen 1:29
