Recovery from sinus infection

Posted By Jj4life (Bangkok, Thailand) on 08/24/2012

I had a throat infection and fever that went away after a couple of weeks but turned into a sinus problem. I normally have a stuffed or semi-stuffed nose but after the sickness I had a clear nose with serious sinus pressure that made my teeth ache. I began to use a neti pot twice a day with not much relif I also purchased a humidifier because I sleep with the air conditioner every night as I live in Thailand. I then got a serious skin infection and decided to see an ENT while at the hospital they decided that anti biotics could heal both issues. After two weeks of anti-biotics the skin issue was gone and the sinuses felt like they were getting better. It has been a week since I quit the anti-biotics but I have stopped improving. Over the past few days I have begun Cayanne snorting and Hydrogen peroxide in the neti pot. I am not improving please help.

I've found more complete relief w/ sinus issues by warm water drinking of cayenne pepper. It's it fast, but heals in other areas (breaking up mucus where ever as well). Research CP, has many applications and some add to the straight drink for different things. I felt better after checking that out and making adjustments. I'm going through a toxic time right now, being flemmy and all, but for the first time, I don't have a sinus issue, it's 'vaigely' in my lungs for a few hours a day, then cleared out (I think it's just the level of detox/recovery that I'm at).

Any way, I had more success w/ drinking than snorting the Ceyanne Pepper.
