Questions About Overall Health and Cleansing to Help Cure Cystic Acne

Posted By Scarlett (Springhill ) on 08/12/2015

Hello! I have some questions about detoxing and how long I might have to be on a cleanse in order to heal my body completely. I'm seventeen and I've been dealing with severe cystic acne for years now. It started to be more severe around the age of fourteen, but now it's just unbearable. I've been on many rounds of antibiotics for different things over time, and I feel like that's the main reason why it's so severe. I recently had two rounds of antibiotics for my acne and three months of a regular medication for it as well...I took myself off of it just a couple weeks ago, because I knew how much it was damaging my body and not helping me at all in the long run...now all my acne has come back and it's even more intense than it was before. I decided to start a cleanse to heal up my body and get long term relief from my bad skin. So I'm wondering if u have any advice on what I should be targeting specifically, how long I should be on a cleanse for this type of thing, or what foods are good for helping to get rid of the problem?

Thanks so much:) -Scarlett

HI U SCARLETT, there are lots of Springhills, could this be La? I know that place. Anyway, your hormones are raging and that is a problem. It happens when you go into adulthood. The problem is that it can leave you scarred for life.

I don't have the exact answer, but you are on the right track to cleanse your body. I can only just get you started. Here is a shake that will cleanse your insides. I got this from Dr Grey of Holistic Horizions and modified it over the years.

To this I added Bentonite Clay , cayenne pepper and Diatomaceous Earth , and recommend you do the same.

Put this combo into a jar and add 1/2 water and shake. Fill the jar with a juice and shake again. Drink and fill the jar with water again and drink.

The big deal here is drinking water and sitting on the potty. You have to pass all this garbage out of your body.

Try this and see what happens. After awhile post your condition and the good folks here will help you. We have all been down your trail in our youth.

Old folks are not concerned with pimples, we worried 'bout our bones.

Hi, Scarlett ---

I can understand well how you must feel with that condition. There are many here on EC who have your complaint, seeking help after suffering sometimes for a long time to no avail.

First, change your diet and examine what must be reduced or omitted. Then I would use milk thistle daily for a few months to assist the liver. Now, I am a senior lady with beautiful skin all my life. I have not had this complaint ever. I have a vegetarian life style and no real health complaints. I am consuming the midstream of my urine from the night urine and I am also non smoker and free of any drugs or alcohol.

In Europe, the nurses that look after babies use the wet diapers to wipe their faces, knowing how this will beautify the skin. You can check about self urine therapy online.

I am not spending money on medications or cosmetics. I feel sorry for the many who suffer from skin diseases but don't wish to use their own best medicine. It is not talked about as there is no money in it and because of ignorance. It is perfectly sterile and heals the worst diseases.

I wish you good luck in making your choices.

Namaste, Om

Hi, Scarlett. There are wonderful suggestions here on EC under Acne. Have you tried probiotics after all of the antibiotics? Yogurt, kefir, pickles, saurcraut, kimchi, etc. to put healthy bacteria back into your system. Junk/processed food used to wreck havoc on my skin. No one is perfect, but try to eat as healthy as possible. Beautiful inside, beautiful outside. One last thing, it takes time to heal. Enjoy the journey to a healthier lifestyle and glowing skin.
