Bartholin cyst

Posted By Kk (Sydney, Australia) on 06/04/2015

Hi EC

I am 40 years old and I recently found that I have a Bartholin cyst. It is small-ish, about pea size.

This appeared during my period, also I had a bad cold at the time so it seemed like my immunity was poor. The weather here has been cold and that added to it, plus I noticed I have a low body temp while taking my temp to see if I had one.

I have been drinking ACV for many years now and do not often get sick. I had a surgery for an ovarian cyst about four years ago and it was benign but the size of a grapefruit.

I lived in very poor conditions during my mid twenties where iodine deficiency may have been a factor as I was often living near radiated soil of post-soviet USSR (near Chernobyl).

After I spent three years there I began to have very bad period pain, problems with all kinds of things, bad back problems, eczema, hives, vertigo, labrynithis and then the cyst on the ovary. Also very bad depression and alcoholism.

Since living in Australia I have become much healthier, gave up drinking, smoking, and I eat moderately well. I don't eat junk and I try to stay away from much gluten although I admit I love cake and ice cream.

I work out a few hours a week and walk every day. I am slim (about 140 lbs)

Does anyone have any experience with iodine deficiency and/or do these past symptoms ring a bell about anything that may have to do with the present cyst?

Thank you for reading this.

KK

All of your symptoms sound like iodine deficiency. Dr. David Brownstein (IODINE: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It) recommends at least 12.5 mg. of Iodoral, an iodine/iodide combination. Two drops of 5% Lugols in a glass of juice or water will give you the same dose. You need to take a B complex and selenium with it. Try it and see if all your problems don't clear up pretty fast.

Hi, are there any special tests to identify bartholin cyst. Except procedure, any another treatment for complete recovery?
