Hello everyone. Thank you so much for this great website! I am replying to the post by Bereket from Asmara, Eritrea regarding psoaris. Bereket, I too suffer from psoriasis and here are a few things that have been very helpful, as far as treatment goes. I take borax and sea salt in water, do oil pulling and take grapefruit seed oil in water. I take 1/8 teaspoon (tiny amount) of borax and 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt with water, mix it with about 1 liter of water and drink it throughout the day, 5 days out of 7. Also, I do oil pulling every other day with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and 2 drops of oregano, neem and clove oil. When it is too itchy, I use a little bit of diluted oregano, clove or manuka oil topically. As other posters have pointed out, please be very careful when dealing with essential oil, they are incredibly concentrated and can burn skin, ALWAYS diluted first. Finally, I put 4 drops of grapefruit seed oil in a glass of water and take it 3 times a day (total of 12 drops a day). I hope this helps.

To Bereket from Eritrea & Alex from Boston: Hi Guys, I don't have the psoriasis problem so never had the occasion to check it out, but Adele Davis (nutritionist) had the theory that psoriasis was caused by faulty fat metabolism and her recommendation to counteract it was that well known fat emulsifier called lecithin. I believe that her recommendation was 6 tablespoons of the lecithin granules per day.
