Pregnant needing remedies supplements

Dear Ted, I am a registered member at Earthclinic site and a big fan of yours. Being a diabetic Type I since I was 8 and now am 34 yrs, I have been on insulin only to control my sugar levels but never seem to be very successful on this end with a lot of fluctiations of hyper and hypo-glyceamia. I recently found out that I am pregnant with my second child. My first daughter is exactly 4 yrs and 5 months old. I suffer from real bad acne since teenage. It cleared out when I did a 5 month course of Roaccutane in 2005 and returned slightly in 2010 and just kept getting worse from then on till now. This has been accompanied with hyper-pigmentation around my lips and under eyes, pimples, enlarged pores, white heads and u name it and I have it. My hair has fallen aound 70% in the last 2 years and still goes on..........

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been taking ACV 2 pinches baking soda every morning before food and also after heavy meals whenever possible. I also started taking borax 1/8 teaspoon in 1 litre of water for my head acne and dermatitis under my right knee.

1) Please advise will it be safe to keep on taking ACV baking soda during my pregnancy?? (I had a C-section for my 1st baby due to diabetic complications at the end and seems will be the same this time too) and

2) also do I take borox in water or stop it as i've stopped and took it just for 10 days before I found out about my pregnancy?

3) My 1st child was highly milk allergic for the first year after birth but out grew it eventually with the help of homeo medicines. KIndly can you suggest any supplementation for me to take to ensure my coming baby's health?

4) What vitamins/medicines can I take for my acne and pigmentation during this time, to avoid further skin damage?

5) Also advise for hair supplements too.

I am taking B-complex, Vitamin C (1000 mg), Vitamin D3 (1000 iu), Magnesium 250 mg, Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 and folic acid 500 micrograms.

Your early response will be highly appreciated as I dont want to create unwanted complications if the above things are not safe for me during this pregnancy time.

Best regards, Vinni

Hi Vinni, I too am a type1 & how I stopped the fluctuations was to measure my bloodsugar -! Hr after I had eaten & worked out that if I took a unit/ bloodsugar count eg bsugar15 then I would use 10 units insulin. Before I figured this out I also had the fluctuations. I hope this helps.

Thanx for this post Che. Jim Humble and his Genesis 2 Church are promoting the use of Moringa and even encouraging planting the trees for health. Along w/ MMS, this could, according to Jim, virtually eliminate many or most human illnesses.
