Post Op Surgery SSCD (Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence)

After having bouts of vertigo for the past 20 years that the Epley Maneuver and Dr. Carol Foster's Maneuver helped, the symptoms eventually grew worse, and autophony became unbearable.

Fast forward, I had the surgery last week at UCLA. I could write a book but everyone is different so this may not apply to you. The docs said surgery was successful however on Day 5, an annoying white noise continues to run in the affected ear. The vertigo is worse than years ago causing a walker to be used, and my right eye every once in a while doesn't focus. In the meantime, I'm taking Chinese Skull Cap, Taurine, Melatonin, Milk Thistle, NAC, Selenium to help remove the anesthesia. The doc prescribed Prednisone for vertigo thinking it will help the swelling.

Does anyone have any recommendations over Prednisone?
