Hi Jennebeth...Drink Chanca piedra tea three times a day. Use high quality organic Chanca piedra powder to make the tea -- 1/2 teaspoon to one cup of hot water. Take this 3 times a day.

After 3 to 6 months on this tea, get yourself checked for Hep B again.

Chanca piedra is very effective at clearing the Hep B virus and acts to strongly protect the liver.

Here's a research review:

"To evaluate the efficacy and safety of genus Phyllanthus for chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection we performed a systematic review of randomized clinical trials. Randomized trials comparing genus Phyllanthus vs. placebo, no intervention, general nonspecific treatment, other herbal medicine, or interferon treatment for chronic HBV infection were identified by electronic and manual searches. Trials ofPhyllanthus herb plus interferon (IFN) vs. IFN alone were also included. No blinding and language limitations were applied. The methodological quality of trials was assessed by the Jadad scale plus allocation concealment. Twenty-two randomized trials (n=1947) were identified. The methodological quality was high in five double-blind trials and low in the 17 remaining trials. The combined results showed that Phyllanthus species had positive effect on clearance of serum HBsAg (relative risk 5.64, 95% CI 1.85–17.21) compared with placebo or no intervention. There was no significant difference on clearance of serum HBsAg, HBeAg and HBV DNA between Phyllanthusand IFN. Phyllanthus species were better than nonspecific treatment or other herbal medicines for the clearance of serum HBsAg, HBeAg, HBV DNA, and liver enzyme normalization. Analyses showed a better effect of the Phyllanthus plus IFN combination on clearance of serum HBeAg (1.56, 1.06–2.32) and HBV DNA (1.52, 1.05–2.21) than IFN alone. No serious adverse event was reported. Based on this reviewPhyllanthus species may have positive effect on antiviral activity and liver biochemistry in chronic HBV infection. However, the evidence is not strong due to the general low methodological quality and the variations of the herb. Further large trials are needed."

Furthermore, Chanca piedra is very useful against Heatitis C as well. Here's some more research:

"Hepatitis C virus infection is a major health problem worldwide. Developing effective antiviral therapy for HCV is the need of the hour. The viral enzymes NS3 protease and NS5B RNA dependent RNA polymerase are essential enzymes for polyprotein processing and viral RNA replication and thus can be potential targets for screening anti-HCV compounds. A large number of phytochemicals are present in plants, which are found to be promising antiviral agents. In this study, we have screened inhibitory effect of different plant extracts against the NS3 and NS5B enzymes of hepatitis C virus. Methanolic extracts were prepared from various plant materials and their inhibitory effects on the viral enzymes were determined by in vitro enzyme assays. Effect on viral RNA replication was investigated by using TaqMan Real time RT-PCR. Interestingly, Phyllanthus amarus root (PAR) extract showed significant inhibition of HCV-NS3 protease enzyme; whereasP. amarus leaf (PAL) extract showed considerable inhibition of NS5B in the in vitro assays. Further, the PAR and PAL extracts significantly inhibited replication of HCV monocistronic replicon RNA and HCV H77S viral RNA in HCV cell culture system. However, both PAR and PAL extracts did not show cytotoxicity in Huh7 cells in the MTT assay. Furthermore, addition of PAR together with IFN-α showed additive effect in the inhibition of HCV RNA replication. Results suggest the possible molecular basis of the inhibitory activity of PA extract against HCV which would help in optimization and subsequent development of specific antiviral agent using P. amarus as potent natural source."

Hello Jennebeth, The only compound I know of that actually truly cures Hepatitis B and or hepatitis C is BHT [ butylated hydroxytoluene ]. Now you state you have an inactive case of hepatitis B. So, I would not get all obsessed about that. Fully one of every three people alive today are infected with the HBV virus. The vast majority of those people will never suffer serious liver problems from this infection. But there is BHT if you wish to truly cure this infection. The recommended dosage is one or two 250mg of BHT per day with water only on an empty stomach. One 250mg dose in the morning and a second 250mg dose at night if and only if you can tolerate the second dose with no adverse effects. For people who weigh 130 pounds or less the one 250mg dose per day should be adequate.

To achieve a true cure takes at least two years of daily dosing with BHT. But again there is no reason for a person with an inactive HBV infection to be overly concerned. Your body apparently has the infection under control with no treatment what so ever. This is true for most people infected with the HBV virus. People infected with the hepatitis C virus have more to worry about because that virus often does cause serious problems even many years later....Oscar
