Pierced navel and have belly button piercing infection

Posted By Suzanna79 (Forest Hills, Ny) on 02/07/2011

I pierced my navel 9 years ago. About 2 weeks ago I started having pain in that area, followed by what is now a full blown staff infection. I am getting contradicting advice from my physician; one is telling me to keep the ring in so that an absess doesnt form, the other is telling me since it is infected I need to take it out. Both have advised that I take a very heavy dosage of antibiotic. Do I take it out, or do I leave it in? the infected area is now surrounded by what looks like a rash diagnosis is Staff. Please help!!!

Hi Suzanna79,

It's a deep infection or just an infection of the skin?

If it's skin infection than Colloidal silver will do the trick. If it's a deep infection than you need to take an enzyme like Nattokinase on an empty stomach with EDTA. and 30 to 40 min latter you take an antimicrobial (allicin, colloidal silver, turmeric or any antimicrobial).

Reduce your carb intake during the treatment.

If the protocol doesn't work you can contact me at: jyt at live dot ca for other protocols. But as far as I know attacking the biofilms with Nattokinase and adding EDTA will make the bacteria very weak and can be managed with any kind of antimicrobials (I hate the word antibiotics).

Good luck,

Tommy

Tommy,
Thank you for the advice, im hate the word antibiotic as well. It seem like its a deep infection. The piercing wasnt silver, it was a white gold ring. I applied a sea salt water compress to the area yesterday, today, however it seems to have gotten more inflamed and the rash around it worsened (very red, bumpy and terribly itchy Im going to try the Nattokinase hopefully it works. Again, thank you for the advise.

Hi,

Regarding the silver, I was speaking about colloidal silver which is a natural antimicrobial and not the piercing.

Nattokinase alone doesn't work. Nattokinase just disturbs the bacterial biofilms and that will allow the colloidal silver to make a big damage to the bacterial colonies.

Best regards,
Tommy

There are a lot of ways to kill bacteria without resorting to pharmaceutical drugs. If you think of bacteria like a bug? Well there's 100 ways to squish a bug, right? Some things I've had firsthand experience with:

8 cat's claw stopped a tooth infection in 2 days that amoxicillin and ciprofloxacin couldn't touch in 2 months. I kept taking the cat's claw for a week to make sure it wouldn't come back.

A friend of mine had some unknown kind of eruption on his arm. It was just a gooey mess. He has Lyme Disease. His dermatologist had tried everything to clear this skin infection over a period of 3 months - nothing worked. Not oral antibiotics, not topical antbiotic creams.

I put a chlorine dioxide solution (about a 1/4 teaspoon) on it and by the next morning the infection had gone and the skin had begun to heal. I applied it once more for good measure and it had darn near completely disappeared by the next day. That was 2 years ago - it didn't come back.

My daughter had 2 years of cystic acne. She washed her face with neem soap and the acne was much clearer in 3 days. She strips her skin once a week with apple cider vinegar (the wax in bar soap can create problems), and the neem soap is still keeping her skin clear.

See...all of these things kill bacteria. You just find something that you prefer - plenty of remedies out there to choose from! :O)

Concerning your navel piercing. You mentioned it is made of "white gold". Some white gold alloys can be extremely high in nickel and it is possible that you are also suffering from an allergic reaction to the nickel in the gold alloy. Legislation in some countries has banned nickel in white gold alloys.

Tommy, I saw your post for the infection and was wondering how many times aday to take the Nattokinase on an empty stomach with EDTA then 30-40 minutes later take Colloidal Silver? Also how long should I take that for? Thank you
