Past 2 wks have lump in throat

For the past 2 weeks I have felt like there is a lump in my throat that won't go away. Sometimes it also feels like I have a hair stuck in my throat. I suffer from sinus and often have a lot of mucus in the back of my throat but this will not clear. It doesn't affect my eating but it feels very uncomfortable although it is not painful at all. Has anyone any suggestions as to what this could be and how to treat it. I drink cayenne pepper most days to help with sinus.

Could it be a small goiter? Thyroid swelling.

I had the exact same thing. I had my thyroid checked and I was hypo and they put me on meds after about i'd say four to six weeks on the meds I noticed the lump wasnt an issue anymore. I hope this helps.
