Also I wanted to add other supplements to take for loss of taste and smell since Bacterial or Viral infection/Upper Respiratory Infection, 60% of cases (most common cause).
Antibiotic – Garlic capsules or raw garlic daily. You can also make a garlic tea with a pinch of cayenne pepper (strained and filtered) and flush out your sinus via neti-pot 2/daily.
Vitamin A –at a dose of 10,000 IU per day for 2 months may be useful in the treatment of post-infectious olfactory loss. You can also take Vitamin A drops 10,000 units daily dropped into the nose daily for 8 weeks. The advice is to tip your head back slightly and place 2 drops into each nostril daily.
Calcium/Vitamin D3 – From these two case studies, the researchers confirmed there's a link between the lack of vitamin D and a diminished sense of smell. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3315864
Zinc deficiency Severe zinc deficiency may disturb the sense of smell and taste. Night blindness may be a feature of severe zinc deficiency, however most reports of night blindness and abnormal dark adaptation in humans with zinc deficiency have occurred in combination with other nutritional deficiencies (e.g. vitamin A).

Hi Nancy –
You might find this article from Dr. Joseph Mercola interesting (Retrain Your Brain How to Smell Again). It was just published today:
https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2020/11/28/retrain-your-brain-how-to-smell-again.aspx?ui=f36dda86d5e3c8f055200dd0e88e0431b3c022a6b920794fc1b9382d38065261&cid_source=dnl&cid_medium=email&cid_content=art2HL&cid=20201128_HL2&mid=DM732014&rid=1022179182
At the end of the article, there is a section for comments (you need to click on it to reveal the comments). Always a good place to see what other people are doing and/or recommending for anosmia.
I hope you find a solution soon.
Take care,
Tessa
