Pain in tooth after temporary filling

Posted By Praveen (Uttrakhand, India) on 03/15/2015

One of my teeth had deep cavity. Same has been removed by dentist and temporary filled and review after two weeks for final restoration. There is no complaint of sensitivity now, but when I touch it with tongue or finger, it still pains. I don't want to lose it. So please advice some holistic remedy.

Thanks and regards, Praveen

Dear Praveen,

Activated charcoal often helps with tooth pain. If you can get tablets, you can just hold a tablet at the site of pain. It will slowly dissolve.

Black Walnut has been a help to some with cavities. If you can get Black Walnut tincture, you would add a dropperful to an ounce of water and swish it in your mouth for 20 seconds and swallow it, twice a day.
