Numbness in Index Finger at Tip - What Remedies Can Help?

I have numbness in my left index finger at the end. Does anyone have an idea of what can cause this and what natural remedies can help? Thank you.

For Ninette: the homeopathic remedy hypericum is helpful for numbness...inexpensive & available at health stores and Swanson.
