New Drug Will Eventually Stop Working For Niece's Relapsed Lymphoma

Posted By Val (Michigan) on 08/17/2015

My niece (25 years old), was diagnosed with Hodgins Lymphoma back in 2009. She went through ABVD chemo. After that, ICE chemo along with an auto/self-cell bone morrow transplant. Three years after the transplant, her lymphoma relapsed. She is now going through Nivolumab, a new drug that as described by her doctor teaches the immune system to fight cancer. She is doing well so far but it is very likely that this drug eventually will stop working. At least that's what the doctor is telling us (but he doesn't know much since this is a very new drug).

I have changed her diet drastically, cutting sugar and meat, eating and juicing green foods, and other fruits. She is taking essiac tea, vitamin C, Clear Lymph for drainage, mushroom supplement, and turmeric.

Please help! What more I need to do, what do I have to change. I feel like I'm missing a lot, especially after reading all comments on Earth Clinic's lymphoma web-page. Thank you so much. Looking forward to hear ideas and info.
