Give up aspartame and all other artificial sweetners. You might be surprised by the dramatic improvement in your condition. I know I did and as a result was able to go completely go off the 30 mg of methimazole that I was taking each day.
Also, start taking the plain L-Carnitine formula. It works great and recommended by my Endocrinologist.
