Posted By Freda (British Columbia, CA) on 01/22/2015

I have small blood clot in my leg/feet which causes my toes to turn blue and cramps in my legs and feet. the doctor has me on Amlodipine but it doesn't appear to help at all. Can I get some feedback/suggestions on what can help.

thank you!!!!

Freda, is your diet pretty good? In order to thin your blood a bit to help with clotting, take 6 tablespoons of lowfat cottage cheese and add 2 tablespoons of organic flaxseed oil and mix completely with a hand held stick blender till smooth. Add some vanilla, stevia after blended, then fruit, nuts....make it a meal. Blending the flaxseed oil with the cottage cheese makes it bioavailable in the blood stream immediately - hence, your blood will thin. Are you able to exercise?

Good Luck,

MyWay,

:D

Hello Freda

Hawthorn berry is good as it dilates blood vessels, lowers cholesterol and protects the heart. Capsicum is another good one for circulation, you can even combine it with ginger, plantain and witch hazel for a poultice to place directly on the area of your clots.
