Need help w intense muscle spasms pain

Posted By Surulere (Bloomfield, Nj, Usa) on 12/30/2011

Folks, I need some serious help. Ive been through hell for past months. Doctors, ER and so on. I figure I take matters into my own hand now because I understand my situation better.

I have been experiencing extreme tight (It so tight when I wake up I can literally hear the cracks under my skin). Muscle from my neck, upper back and chest area for almost five months now. The spasm on the left side of my body is outrageous. And it seems to be going all over my body. It gets better during the day. However, I work on computers which makes my condition worse. The more I work, the more I feel pain in my entire upper back, head pressure like my body is sinking, head noise, spasm, like something is crawling under my skin. Sometimes I feel dizzy. Sleeping is a nightmare head sometimes are bad like my head about to explode and body noise which couple with upper back internal shakiness. I just hope it from muscle tightness.

I stopped working out because I'm tired and frustrated. Not sure as per what to do anymore.

Please Please Please... Any recommedation will be greatly appreciated. I just got my first baby. I need to be there for her.

Thanks and I appreciate all the work done on this site.

P.S. All blood work came out negative.. MRI and Xray indicated minore herniated disk on my Cervical 3, 4, 5

What is your diet like? Do you, or did you drink energy drinks when you worked out? Many people are unaware that these contain aspartame. Aspartame can cause muscle spasms and dizziness and other debilitating symptoms.

Surelere;

Go see a chiropracter doctor.. That is what they do. Try to get a old school chiropractor, most of the younger/newer one are rip-offs, like the MD'S are. [= no real cures to offer]

In response to Surulere from Bloomfield:

For anything muscular, I use magnesium oil. Cures just about anything. Will make your skin itchy, so if you can get the gel (with aloe) or the lotion, that's better, but they're not as strong as straight magnesium oil. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes to do it's job, then rinse off so you don't get itchy. And watch out if you have any little cuts, it'll burn. But for me it's been a miracle cure.
