Google how iodine can help acid reflux on the internet. Low stomach acid may be caused by iodine deficiency.
wish you well!

One time I had acid reflux and I started taking wheatgrass and it just went away... Not sure but I would think if the body is more alkaline then less acid as in reflux and odors. I used to also smell really good.Replied by Acid Reflux Sufferer (Uk) on 09/03/2013
Try to drink the apple cidre vinegar more concentrated. I used to be able to fill a room with my breath, and on occassion now I sill can but apple cidre vinegar helps so much but I practically have to drink the stuff neat. Also I have in the last couple of weeks started to use Zantac but you're only supposed to take them for 6 days and then see your Dr if theproblems still persist... So try asking your Dr about Zantac first as they really do work, but I'm not sure of the effects long term. As fo the slime... I know exactly how you feel but it really is a case of brushing your teeth and using a tongue cleaner when you feel it as all of the bacteria will remain in your mouth until you get rid of that slime - I walk around witha teeth brushing kit these days. One thing I do find is that once I have brushed my teeth, I do so again after an hour to make sure I get whatever may be left at theback of my throat. Not sure if your sinus get affected as well but I also use Otrivine which are adult nasal drops along with saline nasal drops to clear whatever's building up there. Discuss all of these things with your doctor an have him explain how the acid reflux thing works as you may discover other natural remedies which work for you through your own research. Good luck!
