Need Advice for Horrible Vaginal Itching and Burning After SurgeryPosted By Lindsay (Salt Lake City) on 11/12/2015
My gut feeling is I'm not treating the problem. I shower wash with a masters miracle green soap. Then I rinse with salt water and then diluted Apple vinegar ( natural) I'm still having severe burning and itching. I'm suspecting I could have bv and I'm super depressed about this. I've been reading how many women suffer for years. I'm hoping I'm not going to have this whatever I have for ever. As far as discharge I'm just healing from a d&c do I've been bleeding a lot and had blood but it's now tapered off to a little bloody dicharge that is a brown In color. Sorry about all of the gross descriptions. So I'm now sitting in a bowl of salt water with tree tea oil. Trying something new. I'm not wanting to Duech (spelling?) because I've read it makes the balance of good and bad bacteria worse? My other fear is did I catch something from the hospital ? I'm not sexually active right now. Not planning to be anytime soon. Can I give this to my boyfriend? Is this an std? I only have one partner and I have never experienced this until now after I had this surgery.
Can any one give me tips? Medical advice? What should I do. I can't take this anymore, couldn't imagine doing this for years. Knock on wood.

And 4 capsules of turmeric twice a day, which should help if it is staph. You can take the coconut oil internally, too. 1-3 Tablespoons a day.

What helped you? I’m experiencing this now after the procedure and it’s not going away. I have started a probiotic.Replied by Cindy (Illinois, USA) on 05/29/2021
I would say that something is being expelled there. Castor oil would probably stop the itch but may also probably draw it out faster. I'd take a day when I could relax around the house in a robe and no underwear and apply some every couple of hours until it was clear. I had some sort of bug bite on my ankle yesterday that I didn't get around to dealing with until later and just put a drop on the end of my finger and rubbed it in that tiny area once, covered it with a bit of gaff tape and forgot about it as it stopped itching instantly. Of course, by the time I remembered and took off the tape it was gone.Of course, where yours is it would cover itself after applied.I'm guessing insect venom is surely worse than whatever your body's expelling so...of course, I only had one little aggravating insect bite...but the itching should stop pretty quickly. Might heat up a little first...

I'm just throwing more information here. I had neck surgery once and got shingles on the area they put the stitches. Stress lowered my immune system and you can get shingles on your vagina called herpes zoster and I got those when my dad had his kidney removed because he had cancer. Lysine can prevent chicken pox dormant in tissue from surfacing in other forms . Zinc is also good for immune health, but can lower copper. You can get shingles of the eye and go blind. Coconut oil is anti viral anti fungal anti microbial and anti bacterial. As with any cure there can be herx or die off symptom to make you think it's not working.Replied by Brenda (Orange County) on 10/15/2017
I have had great results using Epi-Shield (moisturizing skin balm with Lauricidin) by: Med-Chem Laboratories. I think you can get it on Amazon. Great results
