Natural Remedies Not Helping Tooth Pain and Infection, Please Help

Posted By Sha (Canada) on 04/04/2017

Hi, I have a broken tooth, the very last tooth, at the bottom of my left side. I can't tell if this is a wisdom tooth or not...sorry. I managed to broke it from eating an almond and now after neglecting it I have a hole the size of a qtip ...

You can see the bottom of the tooth with remains of filling, I didn't have any discomfort or pain till last month. Recently just before my period starts I'm having sensitivity in my gums/teeth, and last month I got an infection in thus tooth. I started with natural stuff but gave up after 4 days of not enough progress and took antibiotic. It took 10 days and was gone completely. 4 days ago, again just before my period, the pain started again...I started with natural stuff again and the pain reduced but didn't go completely. I'm scared it'll go into infection again.

I was hoping if anyone else has similar problem and can share with me what he has done and if it helped. I will do anything as I have a terrible phobia from dentists and try to prevent going there unless it's emergency. Regardless I live in a rural area where I don't have a dentist close by.

PLEASE, ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I'm lost. Thank you and sorry for the long post.

P.S. I forgot to add that the pain I'm having is not sensitivity to cold or hot, just a pain when I pressure on the tooth, I can't eat on it, even talking might cause pain somehow maybe due to movement of the mouth. Sweets don't hurt as well. If I don't you have it, no pain, but I feel like something is going there, some times it feels like after the injection in the dentist office is fading away. Thank you.

Sha, there are many remedies here on EC for tooth pain/sensitivity. Snoop around.

What I'll add is that I've tested sugar many times, and if I go over a certain minimum, I will feel sensitivity/pain in a tooth or two. Not right away, but later.

For future information. I was told by a dentist that I couldn't stand, to brush my teeth before bed using Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda and d9 not eat or drink for at least an hour. I did this. I finally threw out the toothpaste, and only used H2O2 and B. Soda. That was 34 years ago. I have healthy teeth, no cavities. For an abscessed tooth, I put numbing gel on it, then use a paste of H2O2 B.Soda. I work it into my abscessed area. Spitting and rinsing with a equal amounts of of H2O2 and Brandy. I keep going over the abscessed area to keep it clean. Usually an abscessed tooth is caused by Lodges or trapped in the gym line it under edges of tooth. The bacterial debris is the access. I work this on a few hours, and repeat. Don't forget the numbing gel. This will cure access and stop the problem.
