What Remedies Can Help Barrett's Esophagus and Precancerous Cells?

Posted By Mary (Ga) on 01/08/2016

I have also recently been diagnosed with Barrett's and H Pylori. This is my second time with the h pyloria within a five months. I also have hoarseness. The feeling of something stuck between my breast bone and burning in my stomach, pain in my chest area, and was really hard and painful to swallow. I even had a stress test first.

My first symptoms happened in 2013. I had an endoscopy then and was treated with Sucralfate, but no script for acid reflux and, and I did not have Barrett's at that time. I felt this all happened due to a tremendous amount of stress I was under caring for my elderly parent and trying to work. My symptoms went away but in August of 2014 I was diagnosed with H pylori and my primary care dr put me back on Sucralfate and added pantoprazole twice a day.

He then referred me to a Gastro dr for an endoscopy. I have yet to see my dr as all this just happened. My appt. is on the 27 of this month (Jan 2016). But, his office called and said I had no cancer but precancer cells, and Barrett's, and also that the H pylori is back. Being treat with 3,000 mg of antibiotics daily.

I have read every post on this site. My question is, if you have precancerous cells do you still just treat it with diet and acid reflux meds?? Or is there something they can or should do for the precancer cells? I am like most of you. I love anything hot and spicy, dark chocolate, coffee, wine, beer. I have cut all this out within the last two weeks.

We are elevating our bed on 6 inch block tonight. I really appreciate of your post and have made notes for thing to try.
