Seeking Remedies for Husband With Benign Ameloblastoma

Please help - natural treatment for Ameloblastoma

My husband is diagnosed with benign Ameloblastoma. Doctors here suggest immediate surgery with jaw resection, graft from hip bone. They say they have to knock off 10 teeth. We have two babies and our whole world seems upside now. Please help. Is there a natural cure for Ameloblastoma? Please advise as yo what should be done. I read a lot about Ted and I wish to contact him directly. I'm new to this natural medicine, so it will help me immensely if you can kindly provide a detailed step by step instructions. Thank you in advance and praying Ted can reply soon. Thanks.

I only just saw this - not been to this website before, so your husband may have already had treatment, but I will reply here anyway, just in case it might be useful for you or anyone else. There hasn't been much research on amelioblastomas specifically, as far as natural treatments are concerned, though I did find a bit about curcumin (active ingredient in turmeric) being helpful in head and neck cancers (which includes ameloblastomas). Turmeric seems to help so many health situations! My husband had and now has again amelioblastoma in his mouth. It seems that as far as orthodox medicine is concerned, surgery is the best option. He had half his jaw taken out many years ago, and recovered well - he needed to be on juices and soups for many weeks but it was well worth it, to not have the ameloblastoma get any bigger or have the chance of turning nasty! His face looks totally normal.

Ameloblastoma does tend to recur every few years, for many people, and it is important to make sure you have a good dentist who thoroughly checks the mouth regularly for any suspicious signs every 6 months, once your hubby gets over this current bout, because the earlier it is picked up, the easier it will be to sort out (even if the sorting out is temporary! ) The last time my husband had this was in 2007. Now in 2018, it has come back, though very small, and he shouldn't need such an extensive operation this time. Meanwhile, I have him on a general immune boosting diet and supplements such as no sugar, no refined foods, low carb apart from carbs from berries and some other fruits, he is not having any grains, all other food is organic etc, and he has a high content of green veggies, especially the cruciferous veggies, and the onion family too. He only drinks bottled water drawn from organic land and generally, I try to make sure his exposure to chemicals is minimized. He is taking turmeric/curcumin, vitamin C, green tea, black seed oil (mouth rinse), probiotics, vitamin D3, Vitamin K2, B complex etc. I am sure there are many more things one could take - there are various natural treatment websites for cancer that you could check out for extra possibilities, though my own thoughts are that surgery is probably always going to need to be a part of treatment. There is some research that certain genetic mutations can be a factor in ameloblastoma and I would expect more drugs as well as natural herbs etc to be used/researched in future that may target these genetic factors where appropriate, but its early days yet....

Please be aware that I can not make recommendations to you because I am not medically qualified - all I can say is that my hubby has been happy to have the surgery each time, (maybe "happy" is too strong a word lol - "accepting" is probably better!! ) and is also happy to take whatever natural pills and potions I give him, in an effort to help his overall system get stronger. Stress reduction through whatever means possible, getting decent sleep and regular exercise, are all big factors when it comes to our general health too, and should not be underestimated when it comes to our immune system.

I hope that your husband is now getting on alright, and that the two of you are coping well. Best wishes for the future :)
